My interpretation of traditional bow-making planes. A set I made out of bronze, with lignum vitae infills and wedges.

They range from 1 1/4 to 5 1/4 inches long.

The steel pins which hold the wedges rotate and have a flat facet on the underside - they don't create a groove in the wood and therefore the iron is firmly held by actual wedging-action.

The sole is machined out of one piece of metal and soldered to the sides.

The irons are Veritas 'flushing chisel' blades with the handle attachment ground off. It's the famous (and excellent) PM-V11 steel.
